Placements 2008 - Anna university colleges

Though there were talks that the IT industry is in a bit of doldrums, Placments in colleges in and around chennai have been going on in a brisk pace. Recently, Cognizant Technology Solutions has hired 278 students from SSN ENGINEERING COLLEGE. Later, Infosys took 98 students from the same college. Cognizant has also hired students in large number from SVCE. Its also worth mentioning that Wipro and TCS are going slow in hiring students. This year SSN does not have TCS, Wipro and HCL visiting its campus. So students dont worry and placements are here to stay
