The TVS Motor Co will re-launch the 125 cc Flame motorcycle with only a single spark plug ignition next week in an effort to cut losses due to the patent dispute with the makers of Pulsar, Bajaj Auto. The company that has registered a two-wheeler sales of 95,235 units in February this year as against 1,20,110 units in the same period last year is fighting a legal battle with the Bajaj auto over licensing and patent disputes. The exports witnessed a growth of about 56 per cent. The non-availability of 125 cc TVS Flame has made the company almost non existent in the executive segment, which forms half of the market.
