Asia Pacer Fails Dope Test in IPL

An asian pacer has reportedly tested positive during the random dope tests conducted during the indian premeier league. The IPL commisioner Lalit Modi confirmed that an agency mandated by the ICC has conveyed it to him. He said the identity of the pacer will be revealed on monday.


It is widely expected that Pakistan`s Md. Asif is the one who has tested positive as he was held with drugs at the dubai airport

Meanwhile the Pakistan Cricket Board is contemplating including Asif for the champions trophy squad taking note of the recent events

Uncertainity still exists over the possibility of pakistan hosting the champions trophy. Many other countries like sri lanka and south africa have evinced interest in hosting the event in case it is not conducted in pakistan and this has put more pressure on pakistan.
